Firebacks Coastal Tide, known affectionately as Coast, is a sweet female Labrador Retriever whose pedigree, temperament, and working abilities reflect the high standards of the Firebacks kennel. She has received her CKC GCH (Grand Championship) in Conformation. And her NTD (Novice Trick Dog Title).

Temperament

True to the Labrador Retriever standard, she is friendly, smart, and eager to please. Coast has a gentle nature, which makes her an excellent companion. While calm and well behaved around the house she also has the energy and drive to keep up on hikes, swimming, and hunting. She greets her family every day with a toy in her mouth and her butt wiggling. She loves to play with the other dogs and her best friend Calvin the cat.

Health Testing

Coast has been health-tested to ensure she meets the breed's standards for both physical and genetic health. She has received health testing for hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, advanced cardiac and genetic disorders. Coast is a compact girl at 22” tall and 65lbs. She has been complemented by judges on her effortless movement in the ring. Adhering to the CKC labrador breed standard Coasts coat is short, dense, and water resistant, making her well-suited for both fieldwork and water-based activities.
